As a Signage Production and Installation Technician, your primary responsibility is to contribute to the seamless production and successful installation of signage projects. This role encompasses various tasks in the signage industry, from crafting signs in the workshop to ensuring their precise installation at client locations.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Production Tasks:

Fabricate and assemble signage components, including lettering and graphics.
Operate and maintain specialized equipment such as CNC routers, laser cutters, and printers.
Ensure the quality and accuracy of signage production according to design specifications.

2. Installation Responsibilities:

Travel to client sites for on-site signage installations.
Interpret installation plans and blueprints to execute precise placement.
Safely and securely affix signage using appropriate tools and techniques.
Collaborate with clients to ensure satisfaction and address any installation concerns.

3. Technical Expertise:

Troubleshoot technical issues related to signage production and installation.
Conduct routine maintenance on equipment to uphold optimal performance.
Provide technical guidance and support to clients and internal teams.

4. Material Management:

Monitor and manage inventory of signage materials and components.
Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely availability of required materials.
Minimize waste through efficient material usage and recycling practices.

5. Documentation and Compliance:

Maintain accurate records of signage production specifications and installation details.
Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and local codes.
Document any deviations from original plans and report as necessary.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent; vocational or technical training in signage production is advantageous.

Proven experience in the signage industry, including both production and installation.
Proficient in using design software and equipment specific to signage production.
Knowledge of safety protocols related to signage installation and production processes.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to interpret design specifications accurately.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with clients and team members.

Physical Requirements: This role involves physical tasks such as lifting, climbing, and standing for extended periods during installations.

Working Conditions: The position requires a combination of work in a signage production facility and travel to various client locations for installations. Flexibility in working hours is essential to meet project deadlines and client needs.
